A late Victorian small longcase ('Grandmother') clock, the eight day weight driven movement striking on a bell with an engraved brass dial, and a 'rocking ship' in the arch. The elegant mahogany case has reeded chamfered corners, and a high double swan neck pediment to the hood.

This clock, an almost identical copy of a Georgian example, was almost certainly made in one of the high quality workshops in Clerkenwell at the end of the Victorian period
