A French 'exhibition' skeleton timepiece with alarm under a glass dome. The alarm mechanism is located in the ebonised base, with remote pull winding and setting from outside the glass dome. The delicately engraved brass frame has silk suspension, and carries a small porcelain enamel chapter and pierced moon hands. Total height, (without dome) = 9".

The dial has engine turned engraving, and sits in a heavily moulded brass case, all with the original gilding. Height: 8"

A well proportioned early Victorian bracket clock, the painted iron dial of gothic ogee form fronting a double fusee movement with hour strike and repeat on a bell. The rosewood case is of gothic design, with detached clustered columns to the front, and two brass inlaid spire finials. Ht: 16 ½"
