 A large wall timepiece, with a 16” diameter wooden dial, and original verge escapement, in a mahogany case with a turned dial surround carrying a heavy moulded brass bezel.

Francis Perigal, a distinguished maker, is recorded working at 37 New Bond Street from c.1770 until is death in 1824.
