A good early Victorian wall timepiece, the 12” diameter convex painted iron dial signed ‘W Edwards & Son, 2 Theberton St, Islington’, the fusee movement with elegant houlderd plates fronted by matching steel ‘pierced moon’ hands, in a mahogany case with narrow turned dial surround, and cast brass bezel.
