A decorative French 'tole peint'  wall clock, the two train movement embossed 'Vincenti et Cie', with silk suspension and 6" diameter porcelain enamel dial striking the hours and half hours on a gong, in a moulded sheet metal case with bird and flower applied decoration to the faux rosewood background. The brass bezel and surround is finely tooled, and the clock hangs from a brass ball and ring suspension.

A good Victorian striking wall clock, the 12” diameter flat painted iron dial signed ‘Thompson, 58 Southampton Row. Russell Square’, the heavy double fusee movement striking the hours on a bell. The mahogany case of good colour has a domed top, two side doors with sound frets, a turned dial surround, and a cast brass bezel.
